Bankrolling Basra by Andrew Alderson

Bit dull to be honest (esp given subsequent events) and it seems fairly clear that Andrew Alderson has quite a high opinion of Andrew Alderson. Other than that, it provides some (albeit highly partisan) insight into the mess that followed the invasion.
enjoying it so far. I agree that he sounds a bit condesending to the "locals" and the anecdote about his kosovo tour death threats just sounds a bit much.
