Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

I have recently been introduced to the wonders of internet banking etc, and have been taking an interest in checking every few days my detailed statements. They appear to be a little clearer than my usual printed statements.
Any way. To cut to the chase. I usually receive my pay on the first couple of days of the month, for work i've done from something like the 20th to 20th of the previous month. Eg Pay on the 1st March for work done 20th Jan-20th Feb. (ish)
However, there was a wee balls up over 1st of April's Pay, and it came through as a cheque mid month, dated for the 31st March. I was in contact with JPA and they said they'd deal with it and get in touch, but they didn't. On the day i was going to call them, the cheque arrived.

Now to the crux of the matter, and what i've posted about .
Having checked my statement, i have a payment in under the name of "Bank Credit JPA Payable Order" for a sum of 5.60 GBP.
Could anyone out there enlighten me as to what this is, as my pay goes in under "Bank Credit HMG"

    Cheers.

  2. Have you put a JPA claim in recently?

  3. Yeah thats the claim reference, probably the simple explanation.
