I hate talented kids! Good skills though, best I've done is 9" at that range. *grumble*
I think it was an 84 year old vet!!!! As in veteran Armed Forces member, not an animal type Vet!
As the article says, it is all down to calling the wind at that range...
I remember watching a group of octogenarians at Bisley in the early seventies throwing tight groups at 1000x on Stickledown. The party included Lord Cottesloe, the then NRA chairman (I think) and Marjorie Foster, who was the first woman to win the Kings Prize before the War..
.. and the only person to have any optics was the wind coach!
