They've done it again.. despite the fact that it has been a ' professional ' sport since 1918 [ with its own international committee and standards and rules and all the other trappings of a world level competition activity ], the International Olympic Committee has turned down the application to have it recognized as an Olympic Sport..

    So...

    No Gold, Silver and Bronze for Rock, Paper Scissors

  2. Someone actually wanted that as an Olympic sport? What next? Olympic-level competitions for watching paint dry? Maybe these folks meant to apply for the Special Olymics and just got confused....being "special" and all.
