    Now, being a Liverpool & England fan and a football supporter in general,
    I have gone through the (self induced) emotional grinder on plenty of occasions.

    However, I must admit, watching Darren Clarke walk on to the 16th green on Sunday and the scenes immediately after his victory left me quite moved.

    I would like to salute the European team for reminding people professional sportsman can still be just that; SPORTSMEN. A great effort by the all the European team.
