Fellow members of the Corps, there must be someone out there who can help me on this.

I have an oustanding animated GIf which I would like to use as an Avatar, but don't have the first clue how to go about compressing it to meet the requirements of arrse

I have downloaded a freebie 30 day trial of Adobe Fireworks, because I read somewhere that it can be done with this software but I need some help/advise......please!

:? :? :? :? :? :?

PS. I dont know if this thread has been done before?

The only trouble with animated GIF files as avatars, is not having the little buggers exceed the 10kb maximum file size.

Check the "poppy's" thread, lots of people had drama's adding a poppy to their GIF, many had to junk the animation.
