  4. This was not said by the current prime minister of Australia, this quote is about 10 years old. Why do people believe everything they read on the internet? I mean, the OP has even left the > characters at the start of each line indicating that it has been blindly pasted from a viral email!
  5. Something of a relief to hear she didn't. Leaving aside whether one would agree with her, it would worry me if she a) thought there was such a language as Lebanese b) thought Muslims didn't believe in God.

Because they are credulous idiots. I have yet to recieve a viral e-mail that hasn't turned out to be a load of unmitigated bollox. Seriously the people who believe these things and continue to forward them are as moronic as those who belive that the "You've Won a Prize" Junk Mail that lands on their doorstep, or the ubiquitous African e-mails asking for your bank details.

Honestly have people forgotten what they are supposed to use their brains for?
  7. I appreciate that folk have opinions and good lord it would be boring if not, I do however get pissed off when folk pander to people of certain faiths when fundamentally the country of origin has a rich Christian tradition, if someone wants to move to a particular country they should do so on the basis of adapting ones lifestyle to suit the adoptive country.
So if any government wishes to out line those facts then it's alright by me, it would be great if our government would get off the lefty tree and start sticking up for our way of life!
  8. Aren't you the thick twat who was crying about your son not getting his parcel and claiming to be an ex-officer? Still thicker than a whale omelette whith extra portion of whale, I see.
  9. Regardless....I wish PM Cameron (not to mention Obama) would express similar sentiments.

Perhaps Nigerian scammers should start adding imaginary anti-Muslim messaging by alleged Australian politicians into their emails?

Seems to be a fair market for it.

After all, the classic, "My third cousin, Vice President of the State Bank of Bongobongo Land, was recently consumed by a hippopotamus, but has left me US$378 million, which I wish to stash in your post office savings account," is getting old.

Really, it's enough to get tins of salty, pork sandwich meat a bad name.
  11. Reading through that, i was getting all excited, then I realised I'd heard it all before.

Exactly the same viral shit as the thief that stabbed the elite squaddie in his getaway.

Why do these morons fall for it?
  12. Hahah. Only yesterday I had to intervene in a 'wooo hooo' session among mates on Facebook. US Marines this time, though I've seen an Aussie SAS trooper, etc and various other versions. Ironically, the event DID occur, but the Army/Marine blokes didn't beat the crap out of the perp.

The other one I had to slap down recently was the Royal Wedding/Cindarella cartoon. MORONS!
  13. The message may not be original to Australia. It is very very similar to a message that made the rounds in the US 8 or 9 years ago IIRC. The groups involved in the message were Mexican illegals not Muslims but very similar. it was usually attributed to a conservative US politician. All of these things must be taken with a 5lb bag of salt.
  14. But remember your blood pressure, David.
  15. big fat roll eyes from me.

    although this made me smile:

    the native countrymen...
