I keep seeing lots of insects around the lavender, by the time I've sorted the camera out they are all around the other side smirking at me, you must have the patience of a saint to get pictures like that.

This is going to sound really poncy now but photography is my escape and I am happy to wait around for hours for the right photo. It relaxes me and soothes my mind and my creative outlet as my painting and drawing are really crap.

F-16 Fighting Falcon nose-on. Interesting assymetrical load (laser-guiding pod on starboard middle pylon?)

*** Edit: tail of German Tornado on rhs. Tiger-meet F-15 on lhs? ***

Second edit - more likely an F-18 Tiger-meet on lhs...

Shot through the window, so technically far from perfect (not that that ever stopped me!). But it was a nice sunrise and this was the aircraft in which my good friend was about to experience her first flight.
