ATR Abbreviations

#1
Just a quick one. I know the army get hard on abbreviations, but in a pdf sent to me by AFCO about ATR winchester, there are enough to make you go blind...

Would anyone care to point me in the direction of an "abbreviation decoder" (my google-fu is weak :x ) or say what the following are:

DQBS
DOAR
MPHHW
BCD
PDR
WHT
BCDT
BSTA
SPTA
SCFT

Thanks in advance

I know some but not all.....

DQBS:????
DOAR: discharge as of right
MPHHW:????
BCD: Battle casualty drills
PDR: personal development record
WHT: weapons handling test
BCDT: battle casualty drills test
BSTA:????
BSTA:????
SPTA:????
SCFT: ? combat fitness test

hope that helps a little.

Cheers guys

I reckone MPHHW is Military Personnel Health, Hygeine and Welfare, given that most of the topics are about drugs, STDs, Heat/Cold etc.

Anyone else got any clues?

Maybe there should be an arrse wiki or a pocket book written with all the main abbreviations in...

You are already adjusting to the terminoligy by the look of things, If you dont like abbreviations, you could always join the Guards, they don't abbreviate anything!

Close, but not quite correct...

BCD = Battlefield Casualty Drills
BCDT = Battlefield Casualty Drills Trainer (ie. BCD Instructor)
