It looks like the liberal pinkos from the US that don't seem to be able to hack another 4 years of "Dubya" will be heading this way.

No doubt, true to their liberal views, they'll be claiming asylumn, demanding a house, income support, free education and health care, and food stamps, all of which it should be noted they have to pay for in their own country. Should we classify them as economic migrants and will Michael howard want to put a quota on this latest infestation of freeloading vermin?

  2. Asshats. They all think that Europe is a "liberal paradise". Maybe they haven't heard of:

    10% unemployment in Germany
40% of all gross earnings (!!!) being spent on welfare in the Netherlands
Some waiting lists longer than the expected survival time in the NHS
"Former" communists in positions of real power
    Extremely centralised governments
    Welfare immigration
High crime (contact crime rate 3.6/100,000 in Eng&Wales, 1.9 in the USA)
    Nanny states
Emergency powers bills that make the Patriot Act look like a piece of soft, warm toilet paper on a cold night
    etc etc etc...

My wife came to the UK as a student, believing the US liberal propaganda about Europe. The longer she lives here, the more she wants to go back. When jobs permit, we'll be both going over there...
  3. There is something to be said about people that lose an election and want to turn their backs on the country because of said me is shows where their loyaties lie; not with their country, community or party but with their self centered selves.

It is that underlying attitude that is destroying the Democratic party 8O
  4. These people have declared themselves, many times over, as favoring a powerful, highly centralized government. Some of them have gone so far as to proclaim the Soviet Union as a model we could profitably copy.

So they should, by all means, immigrate to places they'd find more congenial. And the sooner, the better.
