Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Just wondering if anyone has worked with guys with asthma in the army. How did they manage to join and get away with it? I have asthma but it ain't bad and also wondering if there is anyway round the process of getting my doctor sending my medical records to the army who will then obviously find out i have it? Also if i did manage to join without them knowing what are the chances of them finding my inhaler?
  2. I have no idea how you tend to get round it, but cheating on that is like cutting in line for the guillotine.
  3. Ever thought that there might be a good reason for this being a prohibitive medical condition?

Yeah, right. Do one. I normally delete stuff like this straight away but let this serve as a warning to others, individuals such as this are not needed or wanted in the Armed Forces.
