[FONT=&amp]Support the Maintenance Agreement Manager in the delivery of Offshore Liaison and[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]Maintenance services. The Offshore Liaison duties will require close working relationships[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]with seabed users and marine authorities to promote the awareness of cable systems on[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]behalf of Global Marine’s customers. Collation of up to date contractual and system-specific[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]information, vessel utilisation data and maintenance of vessel repair performance database..[/FONT]

Key Deliverables:

· [FONT=&amp]Worldwide remit on behalf of clients customers for offshore liaison/fisheries hotline services and the promulgation of cable awareness, supporting requirements in Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific regions in relation to customer(s) cable systems.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Development of key relationships with Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) in the UK, and undertake regular port visits applicable to the management of specific[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]customer Offshore Liaison contracts.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Development of relationships within Marine and Territorial environments to provide a[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]liaison service with other seabed users that are affected by, and impact upon, the[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]submarine telecom and submarine power industries and establish regional points of[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]contact to support the worldwide remit through use of agents and in-country[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Promote the GMSL Offshore Liaison capability to new and existing customers and[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]coordinate with Sales Managers to identify new opportunities as well as representing[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]Global Marine company interests at relevant industry forums, e.g. UK Cable[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]Protection Committee, and attend Marine/Fishing trade shows, taking an active role in influencing policy and decision-making.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Responsibility for Global Offshore Liaison lessons learnt within project operations,[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]and onward communication cross company, as well as developing other initiatives, to[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]implement continuous improvement in quality of delivery and efficiency.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Identify spot maintenance opportunities and assist in providing innovative proposals.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Maintenance Agreement Contracts billing and administration deliverables and liaising[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]with necessary Global Marine departments to ensure that adequate resources are[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]provided for the envisaged repair scope of work.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Carry out detailed repair risk assessments, prepare risk response planning in liaison[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]with other stakeholders and manage repair operations within agreed Commercial and[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]Operational KPI’s[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Maintain a technical understanding of maintenance facilities, goods, and associated[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]services and their operational and performance capabilities and criteria and report on[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]repair performance internally (and externally as required) at frequent & regular[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Point of contact for maintenance customers as applicable via the Duty Mobile Phone[/FONT]

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience:

· [FONT=&amp]Specialist offshore experience, which combines project management, survey, marine[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]environmental, legal and installation/maintenance operations skills including a familiarity of international cable protection recommendations and an appreciation of various fishing techniques.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Familiarity with data management, and chart and data requirements in the submarine[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]telecoms industry.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Good communication and presentation skills, including ability to communicate and[/FONT]
[FONT=&amp]negotiate with a wide range of people and organisation; and awareness of, and sensitivity to international cultural differences.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Experience of contract management and sound knowledge of customer service[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Good computer skills, including working with technical and commercial spreadsheets.[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Proven experience working within a cross-functional environment[/FONT]
· [FONT=&amp]Relevant degree or education consistent with good analytical capability[/FONT]
