Day after tomorrow India will be launching a 3.6 ton GSAT 29 satellite that will enable us to achieve 100 GBps internet speed.:)
Cool. There's nothing better than surfing the web whilst sat on the throne. Ah...

Perhaps you shouldn't have build those Elizabeth class useless aircraft carriers.
Useless?:

Displacement:65,000 tonnes (64,000 long tons; 72,000 short tons)[4]Length:280 m (920 ft)[5]Beam:
  • 39 m (128 ft) waterline
  • 73 m (240 ft) overall[6][7]
Draught:11 m (36 ft)Decks:16,000 m2 (170,000 sq ft) 9 decks beneath flightdeck with hangar covering the centrepiece of two decks (without islands)Installed power:
Propulsion:
Speed:In excess of 25 knots (46 km/h; 29 mph)[8]Range:10,000 nautical miles (19,000 km; 12,000 mi)Troops:250[9] to 900[10]Complement:679 crew, not including air element; total berths for up to 1,600Sensors and
processing systems:
Armament:

Aircraft carriers are very expensive to build, operate and maintain and consumes a lions share of budget.

Without escort ships and submarines, aircraft careers are vulnerable pieces of expensive steaks.

Aircraft carriers are for those with deep pockets and money pouring like water and not for those who want to run the military on austerity.

Even India which has a much larger Naval budget than you has scrapped it's plans to build a super carrier, instead she is focusing on Destroyers,Frigates SSBN and SSN's.

Our Bhramos supersonic cruise missiles can easily make a Chinken Tikka out of your Elizabeth carriers.

Rather them than a useless statue made from compressed excrement.

No sane Indian has supported the statue building project.Mr Modi will pay for it in the upcoming general election.

We have escorts & submarines so far in advance of India's that they're like a comparing a gleaming Armitage Shanks bowl to crapping in the street.

India's defence budget isn't even on par with the UK, never mind its spending on obsolete & obsolescent ships.

Your BrahMos (note spelling...) missile is more Russian than Indian, mostly down to India's inept attempts at technological advancement.

India spends 63.9 billion $,Your's is around 47 billion $.

Currently India is building 7 nuclear ballistic missile submarines,12 conventional submarines with plans of building additional 6 nuclear attack submarines.Currently 2 nuclear subs are operational and one undergoing sea trials.

Our shipyards are building 4 stealth destroyers,17 frigates,26 corvettes and one aircraft carrier.

As for technology is concerned,India is developing the Brahmos-2 which is a hypersonic(mach 7) scramjet powered cruise missile with range more than 400 kms.

All the future Indian ships will be armed with electromagnetic railguns, laser-based close-in weapon systems, advanced AESA and PESA radars, and active and passive array sonars

Wrong right from your first sentence.

There's a difference between planning & building.

Your "successful" use of technology is curate's egg at best.

In the future, India will still smell of shit due to street crapping.

World class fighter jets?. My cfuking arrse! It's taken 30+ years to get the Tejas to where it is today, and it still is performing below expectations.

Now tell us if those expensive carriers have decent toilets and the crew don't have to go over board to take a dump...

You are a victim of idiocy.....

Don't look at it projects simply from the angle of time frame because building a fighter jet is not building a Tuk Tuk.
It requires mastering several technologies. Remember most countries in this world still do not have the tech to build world war 2 era planes.

The tejas fighter is not a metal junk rather made up of advanced carbon fiber composites and titanium alloy. It has got an advanced EL/M-2052 AESA radar .The Electronic warfare suit consists of radar warning receiver , Missile Approach Warning , Laser warning receiver system, Infrared & Ultraviolet Missile warning sensors, self-protection jammer, chaff, jaff and flares dispenser, an electronic countermeasures suite and a towed radar decoy .

It may not be an F22 but is a potent replacement for MIG 21 which was the primary objective.
