Asia; another war on the way?.

Why are there so many proponents of Britain's potential opponents in the future on this forum, I don't get why a normal person would go to an obscure, military forum and settle down there to argue the case for their country with a bunch of squaddies.

I prefer India to Pakistan any day but your people still defecate on the street and burn the mountains of trash on the side of the road. If you want us to come back and take over again, I´m sure we can arrange something, we could finish installing a sewage system with sit down toilets for you all and deal with that troublesome bunch in ¨Pakistan¨.

Unfortunately, since you, India, allowed these Islamic ideologues to develop and possess a nuclear arsenal the task is much more difficult. Why did all-powerful India not intervene when the Paks started building a bomb?
Yep, very nearly hit by a bucket of rubbish being thrown out of a upper story window in a well-to-do suburb of Bangalore ( assuming it is not deemed racist to use the Imperial British name for this city), including if I was not mistaken, a used tampon.

Yes, they can develop nukes, but have comprehensive municipal rubbish collection and disposal, nope.

India was not in a position to stop Pakistan from acquiring nuclear weapons as it was backed by both US and China.

US turned a blind eye when Pakistan was acquiring nuclear weapon technology from China and missile Technology from North Korea.

US turned a blind eye when Pakistan's military massacred 3 million bengalis in the erstwhile East Pakistan and when India intervened,The US government threatened us by sending task force 74 to bay of bengal.

Lack of adequately trainable human beings.

Equals? 40% of Indians practice open defecation vs 'only' 12% of Pakistanis
Open defecation - Wikipedia
You would believe in a country that struggles to conduct even basic census ?

If the Indian government wanted it could have easily manufactured statistics to paint a rosy picture like being done in many parts of asia or africa.

How did the seemingly untrainable human beings suddenly became trainable after independence ?
They didn't, obviously. Have you taken a good look at India lately.

Oh yes! Your average Indian of today has access to things which those Indians under the colonial rule barely dream about.

Most Indian children goto school, those living under colonial boots could only daydream about going to school.

There is 4g hi speed internet even in the remotest part of the country, those living under colonial boots barely saw a telegraph pole, let alone fixed wire lines or B&W TV's.

According to UN's endorsed world poverty clock, as of today only 4.1% of Indians live under extreme poverty defined as less than 1.9 $ a day where as your average Indian living under the British rule could barely afford one square meal a day.

How many people had TV's in 1947?
The intention of the statement was to clarify that an average Indian of today is far better off than under colonial rule.

Had the British ruled India of today,it would literally have become some sort of Afghanistan,Somalia or Iraq.

Even 70 years after the end of the disaster we still are paying the price.......
