Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Hols4Heroes

Hols4Heroes War Hero Good Egg (charities)

Two cases, cut down to make paperwights or ashtrays, or implements to bray gobby housewives.

Bid individually or as the two, one is 105mm and the other is 76mm
  2. £10 on the 105mm please
  3. £15 for the 105mm :)
  4. We have one of these at home - I also find they make reassuring "head-battering" weapons should anyone try and break in. :D Multi-purpose...

  5. I did have a complete 105mm cart c/w primer (used), but gave it to an old mucker two years ago - I bitterly regret that now!!! :-x
  6. 35 quid for the 105.
  7. 40 squids for the 105mm, and a starter of 15 on the 76mm

Edited to add: are they FFEd? I'll be using them as ashtrays if I win.

They are in no danger of going off :D

They were FFE'd by me and will be further FFE'd on the buffing wheel before I post
  9. I'll stand by for the 'bluffing wheel' chit then! :)

If the Bids are good enough and I'm asked nicely I could silver solder three .338 cases (cut in half) as fag holders.
  11. 55 quid for the 105. A .50 in half would be better for my cigars!

I'm already a G10 stores for your swag!!

    .50 it is then
  13. That's me out of the race on this - way out of my pocket depth!
  14. £20 on the 76mm then (sorry oyibo)

As the owner of a pair of full-length 105 cases from FI, I'm not bidding.
But they do make cracking ashtrays ...

Use "Cillit Bang" to make them uber-shiny ;-)
