It was mostly great footage but some cnut had taped over the first part (probably originally light guns lobbing in or heli-move) with some GW/AD sh1t...loved the Arctic scenes almost found myself wanting to be in Hjerkin!!

A great video indeed.

Pardon my lagging memory though, one question:

I remember the 105 round being mated before being loaded. Has this changed, or am I now truly senile?

Looked like some footage was used from 'Firepower' at Larkhill.
Is that still going? (no wah)
When did it stop? Was a cracking day out.

I have seen footage of 105mm shell mated prior to being loaded, but I had this feeling it was an american round and not british...so the 119 gun? not the 118?

But as said by others the L31 round is loaded seperate from the charge, this allows charge adjust prior to loading.

So there will no longer be crowds of angry norgies flocking to complain about little plastic bags of poo surfacing in the spring and summer and ruining their communing with nature? Shame...

Valid point SR as they use or used to use the L119 at Larkhill for training
