Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Well done for all the men and women who took part yesterday?
Does anyone know what the fastest time was.

Furthermore why were there not more TA gunner units present??
  2. Would of loved to have turned up but the TA wouldn't match my daily rate

Seriously though, difficult for most to get the time off, my Bty fielded a few, I think there was about 6 or 7 down but then again we are fairly local
  3. what bty are u from wellyhead??
  4. Give you a clue

We probably had the shortest distance to travel (hence the turnout)

You mean I missed it, bugger, I was so looking forward to the xcountry
  6. Dont worry spanish dave the TA cross country championships are in may next year so you have got plenty of time to train for it.
  7. How big was the 106 contribution and how much of it was 457 ?

Believe me I would need more time than that :D

  9. wellyhead we are in the same regt!!

457bty had four runners i think, 210 bty had 4 and 265 had 4 runners,
no other ta unit entered the contest, one guy from 265 bty won a trophy in the junior category.

It was a good day and the CO gave us a free t-shirt.
