Not mine, a mate took these yestrerday in the New Forest....worth a share I thought. I've never actually seen a live badger, one of the few UK animals I haven't, so rather jealous !

I've seen one tap-tapping down the path behind my building with it's claws in the wee small hours. Normally they are a lot thinner than that when I see them, however.

Aggressive buggers when it comes to food. We stopped at one of those forest cabin places last year. We were told to leave nuts out on the decking and turn the lights out, leaving the curtains open. Sure enough, 2 badgers turned up. We'd put down 3 piles of nuts. The scrap over the third pile was brief, the bigger badger making it clear who was going to eat them.

Family day out to Marwell Zoo today. It was quite busy and not everything was open, but even so a good time was had by all. The lego creations are stunning.
