Didn't know that spot was considered Jumpable.

EDIT

Just realised that spot is about 100m from where this guy must have gone in. When the boat reverses it would be visible in the mouth of the bay in @BopBopBop 's pics.

The next time anybody on the immigrants thread whines about the RNLI just remember these blokes are all unpaid volunteers who risk their lives to rescue people in distress at sea without fear, favour or skin colour.

If you can't cope with that then just f*ck off...

High likelyhood that some of that crew were women.

East Sussex Highways are lifting damaged slabs and replacing them with tarmac all over the seafront, they've just done a large stretch along Eversfield Place, the locals are up in arms about it.
I did see that reported in the Observer - apparently it was an oversight, and will be rectified
St Leonards pavement replacement was an ‘oversight’ and paving slabs will be returned
The slabs I was thinking about are above Bottle Alley. A few years ago several blokes in hi viz were marking the broken slabs that needed to be replaced. Fast forward, the paint is now fading, and the slabs still need to be replaced!

I'll have a look, I was right by there yesterday and didn't notice.
