We were there yesterday. The House is closed and there are a lot of areas roped off, but you are still able to walk around the grounds and the cafe is open for takeaway food and drinks only.
Like all NT locations, you have to go online and pre book.

Tractor or 4WD (Land Rover) etc across the backfields is doable, where the track leading to the castle was located is now covered in trees/rubble where the walls have fallen down - the start of the track ran past the bunker located at the edge of the woods

we had a focus estate parked up nearby, people kept moaning about it blocking the parking up, but as usual the biggest mouths did bugger all
I took a picture, checked the reg, it was out of insurance, and nicked, quick email to the five oh, hour later its gone back to its owner on a breakdown truck
