Here's an interesting one...a few weeks ago when the weather started to turn I realised a new coat might be in order, so slithgered off to a charity shop I like, and hey presto, got a tidy one- thinsulate detachable lining as warm as hot toast, serious nylon anti-weather exterior...should have been 33 Euros, brand spanking as well, but it was one of their random 40% off days so got it for 19 something....but the rub: here's the label...seems like Norwegian police or sommat. How the feck did that end up in a charity shop in Barcelona??? View attachment 362243

I am certainly not complaining... a serious bit of 'handle most weather' kit...only downside: the gap between the thinsulate interior pocket slit and the actual pocket has caused me to drop things down the gap between...now educated to it....
 
I supported Wor Lass at the Brecon Beacons ultramarathon today (46 miles; she came 7th female in 9 hrs 9 mins):

It was backlit and the clag was down, so I thought I'd make a feature of it:
