Last Dog, Pearl, Rescued From Meat Farm!

THIS: The moment you all have been waiting for. The last dog on this South Korean dog meat farm, named Pearl, is removed and rescued! No animal will ever suffer here again.

Ah, bollox... The Little Bastard thought it would be a good idea to snort a line of polystyrene dust last weekend. She's been sneezing ever since and we're going to be up at the crack of sparrows to take her to a specialist three hours away to shove things up her nose and hopefully get the stuff back out... After this we're going to have Words...

and cuddles, belly-rubs and ear-scratches...

I hope all goes well!

Please, please, please post some pictures of them on the beach!
My rescue dogs first ever day on a beach, and coincidently, his first ever full day off the lead following 10 weeks of post Op care, went quite well (to say the least)!

Thank you to those who showed such an interest.

Beach near Filey.

Will you be nuking the area and grinding up survivors for fertiliser?

Fine scent hoover she has there. Something very appealing about furry hound noses...

Absolutely.

Me and Mrs SB drive a clapped out (non air conditioned) van as it is the best thing to transport 2 effing big Mastins.

Sod our comfort as long as they are both alright!

Wouldn't change anything for the world.

Well three hours drive to get there. Told that there's nothing wrong with The Little Bastard that a good kick up the arrse wouldn't resolve. Relieved of £672. Three hours drive home with The Little Bastard crying all the way... :threaten:

At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that she had unpleasant things poked into every orifice and that she now has the mother of all hangovers... And at least she has the decency to look suitably embarrassed...

That's not an embarrassed look. It's "I know where you sleep and plan to do unspeakable things to your pillow"

Couple of gratuitous Hounds on the Downs from yesterday. I swear they’re the canine equivalent of Ant & Dec, they always pose the same side.

Alfie’s gammy shoulders and foreleg joints are starting to slow him down and showing when he sits. We’re managing his pain but are starting to accept that he might want to shuffle off when it all gets too much.

hope he’s all right. The new one is shooting up!
