That is not a dog, it's a fecking 3 seat sofa! I've met one of those lovely nature it had, but ye gods the name furmonster suited it.
Coco is a very friendly beast and marvellous with children (and daft as a brush).
Here she is having shoe-horned herself into our Lab's basket.

Sounds a lot like the one I met, guess it's natural to the breed, big as a bear, soft as butter.

I used to know a chocolate Labrador who tended to nest in the cats basket, looked even sillier than your big brute :D

Dog does better than me. I had a tomato and cucumber sandwich ffs
We had home made wholemeal rolls, smoked salmon and cucumber, with lime and lemon to squeeze over it, then lemon buns.

My sister in law in Scotland gave the dog her taste for fine food. Feeds her salmon, venison and beef!!!

New hound. We went to see him on Monday. We get him in three weeks!!

You may already know this but forgive me if I relate it for the benefit of others with a puppy.
First thing, the teeth are sharp but they are weak so don't be aggressive with ragging and don't be tempted to give it toys that are too hard.
Secondly, pups have very sharp teeth so that they know the limits of their bite. There is some technical info out there on the proper terminology that escapes me but basically, when they play with other pups, they yelp when they bite too hard and the biter backs off. 'Bite aversion', I seem to recall.
It might sound daft but when a curious pup starts to bite, let out an enormous high pitched squeal, like you'd hear a puppy yelp and do that each time it clamps down. If it's drawing blood, it's only because you are consenting.
We didn't know this with our first GSD pup and our then 12 year old lad would be in tears of pain and frustration when the puppy would nip his arms. Of course we chastised the pup but this seems to have gone on for ages before it stopped. Contrast that with our subsequent land sharks and from day one, a few high pitch yelps and any nipping stopped immediately.
Sorry for the long winded post but I know how damaging the nipping can be, especially if there are any kids or people naturally afraid of dogs in the picture.
Good advice. Sadly it's why there's a tendency to euthanize single pup litters because the pup doesn't get sufficiently socialised by siblings.

Meet Clover my mates replacement for Big Barney. Another couple of weeks until we find out if Lily will eat her.

Why should it be that everyone else gets cute, loveable puppies and I get a Gremlin, which eats furniture, ankles, fingers and even rocks, and which piddles and craps in the kitchen without any sort of remorse? The wee sod has risen past the height of our 8-year old jackrussell/KC5 spaniel and bullies him mercilessly. Being highly energetic and seemingly intelligent in some aspects of his behaviour, all of this nonsense gives me the gyp. Is it just because he's a Rottweiler? Should I sell him as a War Dog?

You wouldn't sell him....
it's not that he's being a tw@t, it's called 'developing character'.....
Our nine year old Rhodesian Ridgeback occasionally bullies our German Shepherd of a similar age, her character is still developing too ;)
