I’m sure that you are silently pleased and flattered, that in her time of frightened discomfort and distress, she thought to come to her “Daddy” for help and reassurance ;) .
Ever noticed how kids and dogs always come to your side of the bed to throw up or demand attention as opposed to that of the grumpy, zero tolerance she-devil next to you?

It's a puzzle.

Morning All,
Not my dog but I consider all the street/stray dogs my friends(I always keep a bag of dog treats in my pocket). Having a brew and this one came to keep me company. The owner of cafe knows what I'm like and loves dogs himself so didn't mind.

Well despite Poppy collapsing a few days ago, the infection has cleared up the looks of it. The wound is big but clean, dry and healing quickly. She's been discharged tonight and is currently tucking into some of Morrison's fresh cod as a treat.

Excellent news Ritch. The change of antibiotics must have worked. Keep her warm and well supplied with treats

Thanks. She's looking like a different dog and still acting like a mental puppy even at ten plus years. Barring any reoccurrance of the sarcomas on her leg (which will mean amputation) I'm hoping she'll get to 14 like my previous Belgian Malinois and Lab/GSD cross.

He has cost me €30+ already, one owned by the neighbour (although it was in my veggie patch eating my Brussels plants) and a fine plump-breasted Speckled Jim owned by me mate down the road!
The second one hurt the most, the little fcuker had one paw on it's very dead neck and was plucking the feathers out of it's chest with his teeth then spitting them out, wide-eyed and ready to partake in full view of the rest of the traumatised chickens.
(All looking down on the murder scene from high branches in nearby trees)
No eggs from the rest of them for weeks apparently..................................

Free range really does mean free range here!

We seem to prefer our nest in front of the Rayburn, no matter where we put her she eventually moves here.
Another good result, a meet and greet visit yesterday, visit to the vet friday for a final once-over then sunday off to her new forever home.

Bloody hell look at the size of those paws:oops:
You on about the wife?!

He had his weekly weigh in last night... 26 kgs. At the rate he's going he's going to end up nudging 50 when fully grown.
