Army V Navy 2012. Who's going?

#1
With the annual reunion pissup disguised as a rugby match coming up I'm interested to know which ARRSERS will be going.

Mrs TSG has stamped the pass, the flight's booked and my oppo is (hopefully) all over the ticket situation so I'll be there for one.

Any predictions on the score and/or amount of pitch invaders?

Not this year I'm afraid, I'll be away on tour; I'll just have to double my efforts for AvN 2013. Hope everyone else has a cracker though.

PS: Who would bet against the reappearance of Zorro?

ahhh Zorro, how long can he evade capture. I hope some of the strippers are of better quality than those we have had the last couple of years.

I will be going, Wife(civvie) and Dad(ex RAF Regt) in tow. I'm debating on whether to get wrist bands for the RLC bar or whether to just risk some of the local pubs, just to give the wife a true squaddie experience.

As for the score, I suspect the Army will be about 30+ points up by the time the navy get a sniff of the ball and there will be at least 3 blokes running around the stadium naked. Although I doubt Zorro, or the mankini will make an appearance.

An oppo claims to have the ability to get some RLC bands (but that remains to be seen), failing that it'll be the Orange Tree in Richmond to start. Much less rammed than twickenham and with the bus to the ground parked right by there.

Still a good atmosphere there though with a reasonable crowd enjoying their pre ground drinking.

I'll be going this year minus the boring old fart I occasionally refer to as Mr Scuba, instead am taking a couple of friends who like a drink and can cope with busy places full of squaddies.
