army training regiment documentary

  1. can anyone remember a tv documentary about the army training regiments, it was filmed about 10 years ago. what was it called, i really need to find this out
  2. Was it the Paras??
  3. no mate, i was serving at ATR winchester between 96 - 99 and it was filmed there
  4. It was called soldiers to be, my cousin was in it, very briefly.
  5. I was in a documentary filmed in 1999 but shown in 2000, it was about a platoon of Guards recruits in Pirbright then in Catterick, can't remember the name.
  6. Does anyone know how any of these chap's ended up, wino's under a railway embankment or CEO of a multinational corp?

    I think it had Billy Bragg doing the voice-over. Followed blokes from the Light Div in Winchester and Guardsmen at Pirbright through to ITC Catterick. This was when the Phase 1 part was of training was done at Divisional Depots rather than as a oner at CIC.
