Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Anyone know if the army is involved in any Thai boxing?
  2. not officially they aint, but you shoud be able to train/compete in your own time unless your CoC are bellends
  3. I do train in my own time. I am in the TA but going regular n wanted to compete in an army sport.
  4. thai boxing aint an army sport so you might have to try boxing
  5. Give the Trojans a call, they do MMA and Thai and are one of the countries top teams. If you are in the army they let you jump on the pro training programme:

Boxing is taught by a former olympic gold medallist
Thai Boxing is taught by a former all thailand champion, Lumpini and rajadernerm champ
BJJ is taught by a former world champ

They have many former K1 and Pride fighters in the team.

The guy to call is a guy called Charlie, he sorts things out and is ex mob.

If there are enough of you, they normally jack up an intensive programme. Very, very forces friendly club.
  6. if you are good enough the military always find time for you to represent country/unit/etc...........
