The soldier killed in Basra was called Matthew Cornish, but was known amongst friends and all LI as Pastie!

He was a wonderful person and a friend to everyone. He was very popular and will be sorely missed.

What they have done and what they have sacrificed must never be forgotten. And all the guys who have been injured and recovering, like my friend Deak we are thinking of you, and your families.

Though our words are weightless compared to how heavy your hearts are feeling. We are thinking of you all.
