Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. Can anyone tell me if you get a P60 for the tax you get robbed from you on your Army Pension? I have got a P60 from my job and was wondering if there is one for my pension :?
  2. Can't you contact the Army Pensions people and ask there?

  3. Yes you do providing you keep them updated with your current address
  4. treborre

Do not try and better yourself and get a good paid job because these robbing barstewards tax you at 40%

  5. Cheers Mike_2817, I have just spoken to them and a P60 is winging it's way to me as I type! Cheers to everyone for the help :D
  6. A word of advice. If you pay higher rate tax make sure they tax you at 40% on that pension at source. Unexpected tax demands for £1000 plus per year are a real nuisance.
  7. Asolutely correct, this has just happened to me!
  8. But excludes income earned and taxed in another EU Country.
  9. I get paid less now (including my pension) than when I left as a SSgt last year, and I definitely do not get paid anywhere near as much to go into the 40% band.
  10. and excludes income earned and NOT taxed in non taxable countries LOL
