Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. I just received my annual "advice of payment" letter that usually tells me what tiny increase I've had this year except this year it states "Annual rate unchanged. No pensions increase for 2010".

What a fecking cheek. With inflation at 3.4% and RPI at 4.4% this effectively means a cut to my pension.

Oh well done Mr Brown. Well done indeed. :x
  2. You're a bit behind the drag curve, already been covered in detail elsewhere.
  3. Couldn't find it on the search function... have since found it using external google search on the old'n'bold forum!
