Extra military police sent to Kenya after claims against troops | News​


The Ministry of Defence has boosted the number of military police it has in Kenya to investigate claims involving British troops, the defence secretary has revealed.
Ben Wallace said he was “determined” to make sure that all inquiries were given the support they needed.
“We have extra members of the military police in Kenya to make sure of that”, he told MPs earlier this week, without going into further details. There are normally 18 Royal Military Police personnel permanently deployed to Kenya. The army confirmed to The Times that the number was increasing to 22 from January.

The MoD has faced a wave of allegations against UK troops in recent weeks, including claims that a British soldier killed a Kenyan woman in 2012.

Someone should suggest blacks in defence awards, followed by Muslims in defence awards, just to watch the panic of senior officers trying to say no, without being called prejudiced.

You could get really edgy and controversial by suggesting a Soldier in Defence award.

At roughly the same time the Brit Awards have got rid of gender categories:


Being woke it's hard to keep up with what's acceptable and what isn't.

Used to be that foreigners started at Calais and Northerners north of the Watford Gap. It was much easier being biased:cool:
