Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. What sort of things does the army have on camp? Showers/shops/armory and what rank would the 'camp leader' be?

I can only find information relating to the training camp but im looking for actual operational camps.

Oh and most google searches only comes up with news about afghanistan :/

Maybe im not using the right keywords but if anyone could point me in the right direction?
  2. I was to do a review of the structure and facilities within the army. Part of a report for college
  3. Very bad Wah, or a knob.

  5. Welcome to arrse mate ;)
  6. lol it was only a legit question?
  7. Have you considered suicide?
  8. The army is very basic these days, with only one hot tub per three men, terrible hard ship, sauna's have been cut back on, now only one between five men, Showers, there's usually a few knocking around camp, they are most often found working in the stores or driving, right showers of shits them civi's, working hours have been increased to two and half per month, bugger that is.

Shops being franchised are still reasonable, Macdonalds, Burger King, Harrods and John Lewis being the most popular, some of the bigger camps have an Argos and Comet and mulitplex cinema.

The camp leader is often called Quentin or Peter the Tatch.

Hope that's of some help to you 8)
  9. Wah Shield UP

Its the same as any normal place, think of it like your college, except more secure. There might be shops on it or outside the perimeter fence. We have Cookhouse's, Gym's & Bar's & still its guarded by Armed Guard's then we we will have Armoury's (Weapons) & Magazine's (Ammunition)

    Wah Sheild DOWN
