The army is very basic these days, with only one hot tub per three men, terrible hard ship, sauna's have been cut back on, now only one between five men, Showers, there's usually a few knocking around camp, they are most often found working in the stores or driving, right showers of shits them civi's, working hours have been increased to two and half per month, bugger that is.

Shops being franchised are still reasonable, Macdonalds, Burger King, Harrods and John Lewis being the most popular, some of the bigger camps have an Argos and Comet and mulitplex cinema.

The camp leader is often called Quentin or Peter the Tatch.

Hope that's of some help to you 8)

Wah Shield UP

Its the same as any normal place, think of it like your college, except more secure. There might be shops on it or outside the perimeter fence. We have Cookhouse's, Gym's & Bar's & still its guarded by Armed Guard's then we we will have Armoury's (Weapons) & Magazine's (Ammunition)

In some camps even Hot Spa baths  on a PAYD system

You could always visit an AFCO

Also, sadly, the WRAC, do not exist anymore, so free hand/blow jobs for the men, dont happen on such a regular basis as they used to.

Guildford circa 1984, such a happy time...

Most permanent camps (ie barracks) will have:

A guardroom (often with a shower), normally close to the armory.
An HQ of some sort
Living accommodation (barrack blocks) (containing showers).
Officers' Mess (containing showers)
Sergeants' Mess (containing showers)
NAAFI bar & shop
A cookhouse
A gym (containing showers)
Sports pitches
Stores, both technical & general
A parade square
A medical centre
Offices
Garages

Some of these facilities may be shared with other nearby barracks.

A barracks with these facilities would normally be occupied by a major unit, which would be commanded by a Lt Col.

Helpful? Post the same question in the NAAFI for some alternative answers.
Thanks for that indepth answer :).

JP47: that was a very interesting read. Thanks :)
