Army Display Teams

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. We have the Red freds, The Silver Stars, The white Helmets, The Blue arrows etc. What about those Corps that don't have display teams; what would they do and what would you call display teams from:

    The REME
    The Int Corps
    The AGC
    The MGPSC
    and others?

    REME - The Golden Spanners!

Int Corps - Love to tell you mate, but (taps finger on nose) need to know mate, need to know. (winks knowingly).
  3. How about - The Dark Coats and they do a knife throwing act into the back of a target!?
  4. AGC-Red Pens, RAMC-scab mechanics
  5. But whats their act?
  6. AGC could be synchronised chair drill, RAMC could have a band they could call it the sick note
  7. AGC (the police bit) - Some kind of public tea party perhaps ? The public can crowd round, maybe with zoo-keepers, plastic cups and banana mash. Sorry, it's been done.
  8. Int Corps - The Spotters - Synchronized map marking and aerial photography display team.

All done by mime, in dark glasses with no rank slides (and away from the public, in a dark room, without telling anyone)
  9. Billy Rubin and the Keytones?
  10. And the AAC already have the Blue Eagles - or should that be the Bruised Ego's - Fkin impressive display though . . . . .

In these days of joint ops we need a tri-service display team: can I suggest 'The Purple Helmets'
  12. I saw this earlier today, perhaps they should be on motorbikes The Throbbing Purple Helmets or perhaps they could do a water display with fire houses "The spouting Purple Helmets or perhaps ... no no stop its too silly!!
  13. How about motors bikes jumping out of planes into the see!
  14. RA have renamed there para team and called them the Black Knights just as they where called many moons ago........from a distance look like and act like the Baron Knights...........
