Army Bases and Mobile Phone Signals

#1
Why do some Army Camps have poor mobile phone signals :?: Just come from Fally and the signal on the Tank park was very poor, Now posted to Bovington and same again hardley any constant good signal and I know Lulworth Camp is pants as well...Anyone else had any problems with phone signals ??? I am sure the Army put a big blocking system on the area so you don't get called by your misses at work :!:

It's just gaps in network coverage, with some bases/training areas being more remote and hence less likely to be covered - nothing more sinister than that. E.g. Brunswick's fine for vodafone but cr*p for orange.
