The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. JUST got back from my first and second interviews, and while im moderately fit, the sgt let slip the selection centre requires a man to be able to do at least 3 Heaves to pass, all the other stuff is the same.

    anyone heard about this.

i mean i can "knock out" 40+ push ups and loads of sit ups, im just not that good at heaves..

    your thoughts.

p.s. is it normal to have 2 interviews less than half hour apart.?

  2. Very normal, and if you can't do 3 heaves then I suggest you apply for the Navy.

Although some training might be better??

  3. cheers for that.

    i am exercising, daily,

    running 2-3 times a week

    cycling 10 miles A DAY

    and doing weights.

    no navy thanks

  4. Keep up with low weight/high rep weights on the arms, it'll help with heaves.

  5. cheers smudge!!

  6. pffft, no you don't.

As long as you're seen to be puttng 100% into it, you can pass with a spectacular 0.

  7. between me sending off forms and my selection was about 6 weeks..

  8. thats right wen i did my selection the pti just looked up at the bar looked down at me and sed fuk off, still passed:D
