  3. Will be at the Royal Logistic Corps Open Day in Deepcut on the 27th, Andover Armed Forces Day on the 28th and Portsmouth Armed Forces Weekend & Airborne Forces Day the following weekend. Anyone out there going to these events?

    Until Saturday 27th June 2009 – 'We Were There', free exhibition at the Levinsky Building; Gala Mess Dinner at HMS Drake for serving personnel, veterans and partners.
    Thursday at 12noon – Door of Unity Service, St Andrew's Church.
    Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm – Veterans Centre in the Guildhall; from 10am to 2.50pm – Music by a host of children and young people from schools across Plymouth; 11am – service for National Armed Forces Day, St Andrew's Church; 7pm – Last Night of the Proms event at Flete House, near Modbury by the Salamanca Band of the Rifles; 7.30pm – Armed Forces Day Concert in the Guildhall.
    Sunday at 10.30am – (all events on Plymouth Hoe) Opening parade by the Salamanca Band of the Rifles; 11am to 12.25pm – RAF and Allied Air Forces Monument Service; 12.30pm – Fly past by RAF Search and Rescue Sea King helicopter; 12.40pm to 1.05pm – Performance by the South West Pipes and Drums Band; 1.05pm to 2.25pm – Young people's tattoo event featuring sea cadets, Royal Marine Cadets, Army Cadets and the Air Training Corps; 2.30pm – Fly past by DC3 Dakota of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight; 2.40pm to 3.10pm – A celebration of the field gun competition; 3.30pm – Ceremonial steam past by HM ships Monmouth and Sutherland plus a gun salute; 3.50pm – Rapid roping display by Royal Marines; 4.30pm to 5.45pm – Tattoo featuring the Salamanca Band of the Rifles and The Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines as well as many others.
