how long will it be before the Argies invade the falklands then when we have no harriers?
yea we have the Troop carriers but i think the Ark Royal with Harriers should of stayed

But we have MPA now with Typhoon. Surely the RAF will come to our defence in a time of national crisis?

As long as it is 9-5, Tue through Thu and not raining, of course (Falklands not being an Op tour so normal rules apply?) :D

And the damn things aren't grounded ...

You forget Wednesday is 'sports and adventurous training day', it is not an RAF working day. You remember 'raining' but you forgot to mention: 'too hot'; 'too cold'; 'too windy'; 'too dark'; 'too high'; 'too low'; 'too near'; 'too far'; 'too light'; 'too difficult', amongst other reasons for not flying in support of..........

I worked out that if there was threat to the overseas dependancies who also happen to be the tax havens where the politicians and tory donors keep their money then the navy cuts would soon be rapidly reversed like in 82.

dogs of war from cuba sort of thing :)

I have a friend who does the mod desk at the national audit office and have got him to ask if they can report the sdr as being a bad use of taxpayers money. he's allready in trouble for telling the procurement lot in bristol that they were cr@p!

actually if the guys in blue took up arms and marched on parliament there's no one left to stop them as the army is all up north and the police overtime bill wouldnt be approved :)
