Are we going to see riots this summer ?

Hats off to Mr Bruce for this short but excellent article.

The Black Lives Matter movement is re-racialising society
It is psychologically damaging to see skin colour as a component of all social interaction
From magazine issue: 4 July 2020

"Every day I thank God for the British Empire. Without it I wouldn’t exist. My Gold Coast-born mother would never have met my English father. She herself is the descendant of a Scottish merchant called Bruce. Now she lives happily in rural Perthshire. She’s the only black in the village."

What utter tosh (the article).
I wonder to what extent the Karen thing is a direct consequence of #metoo. Obviously there were some genuine cases of sexual harassment and that's unacceptable. But then after it got going it seemed that every white, middle-class woman in the world was trawling back through her emails and text messages looking for anything on anyone, no matter how innocuous, so she could join in with her sisters. Now Karens are a figure of ridicule. Will something happen like that to BLM? Or Antifa or XR (all the same really).

Wouldn't be so great for genuine victims of racism but probably still better for them and everyone else than igniting a race war.

Apparently white middle-aged women are all racist and historically violent.

The article seems to suggest any interaction between police & POC results in injury or death. It also seems to forget that Hillary Clinton seemed to feel entitled to be president, & lies like a cheap NAAFI watch...

I must admit that it’s news to me that Karens had a reputation for casual racism (unless that was a fabrication in the article). I’ve viewed them rather dim women who live and die by the sword of Facebook, jumping on bandwagons and seeing the world as a two dimensional virtue-signalling playground.

You need to differentiate between its use in a firearms deployment as a less than lethal option and a mass public disorder situation where it is being used to control unarmed people.
When I look upon the crowd wielding bricks, cobblestones, bikes, railings, fire extinguishers , bottles, tins, bats etc I really struggle with the definition of unarmed**

**And as for that twat charging at and waving a sword at plod in Brum - id have no problem if his threat had been eliminated by lethal means.

He does a good dismantling of the police and the HRA98 in this one:-

All of those things can kill or cause serious injury with life changing disabilities, yet if force is used against someone carrying them, such as using a Taser, there is uproar. I am sure that the law forbids you from carrying anything for the purpose of using it as a weapon.

Unless there is a plausible reason why someone should be carrying a brick or bottle then they are not strictly unarmed. Mind you, some describe someone carrying a knife as unarmed.

That will probably be of little use. I have just seen the cctv footage that the police in Bristol released to id the rioters who pulled the statue down. I doubt their own Mother's would recognise them.
Well, their Dads definitely wouldn't.

But then, how could they.

The most important paragraph of Pelling-Bruce's piece is this:
The Police Reform Act 2002 – another Blairite gift – altered the police oath in England and Wales from serving ‘without fear or affection, malice or ill will’, to ‘with fairness, integrity, diligence and impartiality, upholding fundamental human rights and according equal respect to all people’. The old words describe virtues; the new ones mostly refer to ideology.
... Police need rescuing from philosophical entanglement before public trust is further eroded.

Usually a rather large black female who insists on referring to all black males under the age of 35 as boys.
Now if I did that...
