Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

  1. Got my reply for my medical assesment back yesterday and I have been rejected to carry on at Gelncorse.

    This is the reason they gave me;

    "The reason for this decision is because of your history of reflux disease of your oesophagus, which was diagnosed in March 2010. In addition, please note that your history of migraines might have had a bearing on your eligibility"

    What I don't understand is that the doctors have told me that my minor reflux and migraines was due to my lack of sleep and unhealthy diet (Plenty of caffeine, Chocolate, Spicy foods and eating before bedtime) After being told to change my diet these symptoms have gone. Would it be worth appealing or is this a permanent No? How would I go about appealing my case? What information could I gather to benefit my review?

    Thanks.
