Appeal Court - common sense at last?

Welcome to the Army Rumour Service, ARRSE

The UK's largest and busiest UNofficial military website.

The heart of the site is the forum area, including:

  1. BBC breaking News:
A gang member who supplied the handgun used to kill Rhys Jones has had his sentence increased to 12 years.

James Yates, 21, provided the Smith and Wesson used to kill the 11-year-old in Croxteth Park, Liverpool - and helped with its disposal.

He was jailed for seven years, but his sentence was referred to the Court of Appeal by the Attorney General as being "unduly lenient"

Well done the Lord Chief Justice and his cohorts for increasing the sentence for this scumbag - I would love to have been present to see his reaction. Is it too much to hope that it will be a sign of things to come? Somehow I doubt it.
