The heart of the site is the forum area, including:
Is there any truth that the dental's have been scrapped at chilwell?
As of late 2010 they had been downgraded from a pass/fail to a report giving the receiving unit a warning of how much work you needed doing. They were then being removed entirely, (but might have come back in again)
You need a civvy dental fitness certificate.
I mobilised May 2012. Didn't go anywhere near the dental center unlike previous times.
No mention of a Civvy dental certificate in my call out notice?
No you don't! To the OP if you have any doubts call RTMC and confirm.
There is no dental check whatsoever. The med centre don't even look in your mouth, unless you go for the DNA swab.
My advice would be to go see your own dentist prior to mobilising/deploying, but you don't need a certificate of any kind!
Thats what our lads have been told.
You do your 1.5 mile and press ups / sit ups now in chilwell?
Again, phone Chilwell or talk to bods at your unit who've been there recently!
My papers say all MATTs, so yes.
