It's the 10th Mountain division. It's definitely Iraq, not sure where specifically (I'd have to check on where the 10th Mountain is, I think Anbar maybe)
Are they swearing allegiance or something?
Is it usual to have the formation (Div) flash on both arms?
I thought it was only worn on one, with previous Div flash on the other.
Formation patches on the right shoulder indicates combat service with that formation.

re-enlistment(as extending service) cermony mate the yanks are huge on it they swear allegiance again ware as we just bimble into the admin office and sign a form to re-engage
