Anti terror arrest for 'left wing' terror offences

Something of an unusual event as we are constantly being warned about the dangers of the radical right.

"Dominic Noble, 32, from Huddersfield, was charged with a total of 14 offences, including possessing documents likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, after he was arrested at his home last week.

Counter Terrorism Policing North East said Noble was arrested on 2 June as part of an “intelligence-led investigation into suspected leftwing terrorism”

Of the charges, 13 are for the possession of documents likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism, and one is for viewing or accessing a document likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism."

Coincidentally (or not) Huddersfield is where Miss Hitler and her National Action friends were arrested, and who are up for sentencing shortly.

I wonder if Mr Noble's been downloading the Anarchist's Cookbook. Presumably that alone might flag him up, but wouldn't necessarily precipitate a raid. I bet loads of people have downloaded it out of curiosity with no intent of harm.

His Facebook page is a litany of paranoia with very little interaction with anyone else, as is his Twitter page, which is often the case with these people. It also contains this which may have escalated him up the watch list.

Surprised he didn't cover his tracks better seeing as he is in IT.

If I'm going to make high explosives at home I'm not using an "Anarchists cookbook" , I'd want to use the " extremely sensible and not pissing about cookbook ".

If the LW want to commit terrorist offences the thoughts of the XLW must be a lot worse

First impressions are that he was a fantasist rather than a credible threat. And I'm uncomfortable about nicking somebody for 'looking at stuff on the internet'.

Just google Anarchist Cook Book and someone at GCGQ probably gets a stiffy

Depends on what he was looking at -

If he was searching for blue prints of Scotland yard and the recipe for Anfo online whilst ranting about the evil fascist pigs and how they need bringing down. That's a tad different to googling how do car bombs work

What about the online publications of Islanist terror groups or child pornography? Did material he looked at or downloaded indicate an intention to cause harm?

Does he have form? What were the other charges against him?

Is that an extra secretive version of GCHQ?

The most secret branch of GCHQ is called _ _ _ _ .

Left wing terrorism isn't terrorism because you get blown up, liquidated, purged or non alived for the good of socialism, anyone that complains about it is just selfish and should also be murdered discitizened for their own good.

If it's kiddie porn they've been looking at then I'm more than happy for them to get nicked. And then sent to prison for a very, very long time.

I can't believe I'm the first in relation to the link

Perhaps a Danger F*ck, but Alice Cutter - yes, I would.

As for the knobhead in the original thread: broke the 11th Commandment.

Replying to my own message - Ms. Hitler has just been sent down for 3 years, and her blerk for 5 years.

That's one of the things that you're less likely to get sent down for now, due to the fact the prisons are overcrowded and those convicted don't generally represent a threat to the community in the eyes of the MOJ. Also, people convicted of looking 'only' tend to be shunned by their family, friends and employers, and as such are quite passive.
