Apart from the fact that this will improve morale and retention, and reduce the likelihood of toxic leaders doing long term damage...that is.

If you're doing well at something your view of the boss may differ from that of the person being pushed to do better. His toxic leader may be the other man's else's role model. Depends on many factors.

When Esther Rantzen started Childline she said later that she'd have had second thoughts after it became a threat from children to their parents.

There might be unintended consequences.

A nice little well paid number for a group of lawyers ,officers and civil servants sniping at the chain of command and giving support to barrack room lawyers

The army has plenty of bullies, still. I've seen and dealt with my share of them at all ranks. Unfortunately not everyone has the ability to tackle a toxic Tom in their platoon never mind the toxic, Segreant, SSM etc.

Anything that helps people speak out is a good thing.
