  1. A British soldier has been killed in a helicopter accident in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence has said.

    The soldier, from 22 Engineer Regiment, Royal Engineers, died alongside two Canadian troops when their aircraft crashed in Zabul province on Monday.

  10. Just seen on the BBC website that the Sapper who died was a Captain Ben Babington-Browne, 22 Engr Regt.
    I didn't know him but my condolences to famliy and friends.
    Also to the Canadian soldiers who lost their lives in the crash.
