Another curious question about patches.

I have never seen a snipers patch do they even have anything to say they are one I have seen ones with crossed rifles and an S but if you pass thdecourse do you wear them?

Things may have changed but the British Army, unlike the US, don't do patches. If you are 'qualified' you wear an appropriate qualification badge in the appropriate place (above chevrons indicates instructor for example)

Well they do have Parachute and Daggers etc above their Battalion
I don't think they are 'patches' though, I might be wrong but they show that the wearer has passed what is classed as an 'Arduous Course' (ie: P Coy and Commando Training)

And not every arduous course is rewarded with a badge - chef for example.
 
Exactly like ACAB says. We, the proud serving members of Her Majestys' finest, wear badges. The Yanks and motorcycle clubs wear patches
