Annual 'NHS Got Talent' show is abandoned after fire-eating nurse suffers serious burns on stage

Nurse Kristy Cullum, pictured, was performing at the NHS Got Talent show at the Theatre Royal in Winchester, Hampshire ,inset, when she suffered serious burns after a mistake during her fire eating act. Ms Cullum was treated by her colleagues who were in the audience before she was rushed to a specialist burns unit at Salisbury District Hospital. Following the incident, a decision was made to abandon the fundraising event for the Winchester Hospice Appeal.
