Angela Rayner PM?

So you have to ask how did she get elected? Was iust through the researcher, SPAD or PPE way to the top - or was it something that made her constituents believe in her to get elecetd.
Big, loud, foul mouth?

Governed from the gutter doesn't seem to be the popular option, despite your optimism about her mystery credentials.

I became politically aware in my teens around the mid 80's - every successive Government has got worse, and worse and worse; weaker, and weaker and weaker.

The power that "others" hold over your life has gotten stronger and stronger however, interestingly, and there is less and less accountability. It is all about behind-the-scenes influence these days, and that's not a conspiracy theory, it's merely an observation - MPs are "in office but not in power".

America elected Trump, so who knows what could happen here in future years?

Trump understood how business works. The Rayner creature only understands its entitlement and how to spitefully destroy an economy.

I'd love to have a go on her.. Ginger, feisty, cracking figure.. Christ, I'd even make her a brew and a bacon sandwich the morning after!

Murderphucque.

I find her abrasive manner very unappealing. Does she have a genuine support base or is she simply being tollerated?

As someone from inner city Manchester (collyhurst) I bitterly resent the attitudes she and her like espouse. I grew up with a hole in the roof that I still remember watching the snow come through.
Fast forward to the eighties and I had a single parent girlfriend from where I grew up on benefits earned more than me who employed twenty blokes doing dirty work.
I remember being aghast at her having central heating on full with two outside doors open and not giving a jot about it.
That's when I changed to Tory.
I have never corresponded with someone who freely admitted to coming from Collyhurst (as I was born in your much more salubrious neighbour, Harpurhey) which is why I now live in the Bavarian Forest (Bayerischer Wald).

I arrived just after that photo was taken. Unfortunately she escaped around the back of the loading bay before we could doorstep her.

Heaven forbid what the rest of the world's leaders would think if she ever turned up to any political summit as the UK's democratically elected leader. We just wouldn't be taken seriously. It doesn't bear thinking about.
The above in spades.

Some brilliant comments on this thread in my humble opinion (especially the WO2 analogy from @CH512O). But the ultimate factor that I always consider (regardless of personality or party) is how the UK's interests are debated/influenced/won/lost/recovered etc, etc on the World Stage.

I dread to imagine Angela in the cut and thrust with the PM/Pres of Pakistan or USA or Norway or Chile having seen her god awful 'performances' in Parliament and the MSM.

Nope, I want and bloody well expect my countries leader to be educated (with intelligence) and talented to be on the same level as the others. Not a fcuking Labour experiment that must make previous Labour politico's cringe if alive or turn in their grave if dead.

I hope she is the main reason we continue without a Labour Party in power until they effing well learn why the majority still don't want them.

She’s obviously fuelled by hatred, intolerance and resentment. And putting a politician, fuelled by those behaviours, in charge of a country never ends well.

Imagine an audience with the Queen with PM Angela 'potty mouth' Rayner. I bet that Her Maj would wish that Phil was around to deliver cutting epithets.

"Prime Minister, what charming turns of phrase you use. It rather reminds one of one's time as a driver in the Army all those years ago. Darling Philip used to use them when he returned from sea; they are so quaint, don't you think?

The disdain, arrogance and barely-concealed aggression is obvious.

This fecker is trouble, in the same way that she'd be trouble in the Bigg Market of a Saturday Night. Every bouncer's pain in the arrse gobshite drunkard.

Hasn't worked since she was 27?! How did she pay for her tattoos..?
100k for 2 weeks on Celebrity Big Brother
10k for ‘My tragic life story’ from a red top.
2k for opening a new Lidl in Bermondsey.

I’m just speculating, I’m as baffled as you are.

Hmmm… Ant Middleton was binned for calling protesters ‘scum’, I suspect Grangela will get away with this because ‘woke’…

"It's only about Tories, and they're not human anyway". Sadly, for a whole swathe of the current Labour Party, that is seen as a reasonable standpoint. The dehumanisation of the "other" is a socialist trait of lengthy pedigree.

The same can't be said of the Tory party; I can't think of a single serving Conservative MP who's referred to Labour MPs as scum at their Party conference, or anywhere else for that matter.
