An antidote to medical litigation?

  1. An American surgeon has recently declared that he will not treat lawyers because the constant stream of medical insurance claims from members of that profession is making it impossible for him to do his job. (Source: You and Yours, Radio 4, Thursday 28 October 2004)

    In view of the fact that in some US states it is impossible to find obstetric care because the medical insurance premiums have risen too high, is this guy on to something?

  3. No such thing as the Hippocratic oath nowadays.

    He is probably in private practice anyway and is probably quite entitled to pick and choose his patients.
  4. Personally, shoot all lawyers or persons from the legal profession. Blood sucking leeches :evil:
