An 11 yr old, a .50 cal pistol and an 1100lb wild pig....

Now that's a fine specimen indeed.

Now i'm not so sure as a parent I would:

    a) Let an 11 year old loose near beasts such as this
    b) Arm him with a .50 Cal hand gun (with sights - very gay)
    c) Watch him pump 16 bullets into it over 3 hours?

Now I'm a firm believer that happiness is a warm barrel, and have no qualms about killing animals, but there's something a little troubling about all this. (If the story is true!)

It would make a fine addition to the Mess trophys though :)
  2. Thats got to be bollox.
Look at the 'family' picture, the thing looks gigantic.
Then look at the picture with the tractor in it, it looks relatively normal.
  3. Photoshop
  4. ... me too - but that's only because I can't afford a bath! :)

Damn. I thought you were talking about Moodybitch's sex life.
  6. Got to be balls.
I normally go hunting 1100lb pigs armed only with a vodka and coke and watch telling me it's ten to two.
  7. Not photoshop, just a matter of viewing perspective. If the camera is close to the hog and the boy further away, then the hog would seem larger than normal.
Surely if this was real he'd be posing up close and personal with his 'prize'?
  8. Personally I think its faker then a bagfull of fake things. How can a kid take that out with a pistol without getting damaged by the pig. He had to be an extremely good shot
  9. and no sausages left........

  10. I don't think so - it looks much more fakerer than that - it's about the most fakerest thing I've seen since the last one.
  11. Faker than an Indian mystic on a bed of nails.

Shame, it'd be a hell of a barbeque.
  12. Seems to have been confirmed by various media sources.

  13. Must be totally true then. ;-)

My lad aged ten would love a go at that. Of course over here he's a four year wait to get his hands on an air rifle...
  14. seems they were using the wrong sort of weapon if it took 16 rounds and three hours to kill it not exactly sporting
  15. If that isn't a trick photograph then the right sort of weapon would be a .700 Nitro Express.

Though frankly if it were me I'd prefer an RPG.
